How to watch streaming video on a dial-up connection?
I just have dial up internet, thru Net Zero, and it is too slow to watch video (such as you tube) & there are videos I want to see. The video stops about every 3 seconds & says “rebuffering” for about 30 seconds, then plays another 2 seconds of the video. Is there any way for my computer to temporarily download (but not save) the video, so I can watch it all at once? I am not trying to save these to my computer, just want to watch them without the frustrating interruptions. HELP!
I don’t know if macromedia flash player has any options for changing connection speed or buffer length, but if it does you can right click on the video and go to settings. One way is to just pause the video after it starts. It’ll load in the background and you can watch it all at once when it’s done.
