As James Kirchick notes in Commentary’s Contentions:
Yglesias writes about the Foreign Policy Initiative, a new think tank/advocacy group founded by Bill Kristol and Robert Kagan. He opines:
When I was a kid, I remember hearing that cockroaches would not only survive the sure-to-happen US-Soviet nuclear holocaust, but actually emerge stronger than ever as they devour our irradiated corpses. Similarly, there’s a new think tank in town, headed by Bill Kristol, Robert Kagan, and former Coalition Provisional Authority spokesguy Dan Senor.
The use of the word “cockroach” to describe undesirable persons has a long history, but there’s a specific and ugly context that is most pertinent. In the run-up to the Rwandan genocide of 1994 — in which nearly 1 million people were massacred over the course of just 100 days — “Hutu power” radio stations used the word repeatedly to describe members of the minority Tutsi tribe.
This is exactly right. The Hutu power spokesmen used the radio to spread propaganda and indoctrinate Rwandans with hatred toward Tutsis. Additionally, Hutus who did not follow the extremists were labeled traitors, meeting the same fate as the hundreds and hundreds of thousands of other innocent Rwandans who were killed in the mid-1990s.
Kirchick rightly comments:
As an expert on nearly everything, surely Yglesias is aware of the word’s loaded history.
If this is so, then what would Yglesias have us believe?
It’s obvious. He knows what worked for the Hutus and he’s adopted their method. His targets are clearly “neo-cons.”

Bill O’Reilly has hit Think Progress hard. He exposes the fact that they smear and try to silence those who disagree with the Left or Islamo-Fascism. They are bullies and aren’t used to getting hit hard.
O’Reilly Lashes Back At ThinkProgress: ‘They’re Insects’
Tonight on The Factor, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly offered a host of attacks on ThinkProgress and Center for American Progress President and CEO John Podesta that were rich with irony.
Ignoring the role of Fox News in smearingprogressives, O’Reilly said Podesta is “driving the hate industry. … Podesta’s website is devoted to hurting any prominent person who disagrees with liberal politics.” He also falsely attacked Amanda Terkel, again, for “harming a rape victim and her family.” O’Reilly told his audience:
Why should you care about any of this? Well, because it’s your country. A well-coordinated, well-financed cabal attacking dissent is a pretty big story.
Bill O’Reilly is the 1st person of major stature to take on Think progress. He has hit them hard and is exposing them. They are not used to getting hit. They are now crying and complaining. Hey Faiz, afraid your cowardly propaganda site is be shown for what it is? Think Progress hates Western Civilization and supports the Leftist-Islamic alliance. I hope more Media people go after Think Progress. It is an Anti-American website.

The Leftists at Think Progress are upset that Israeli President called for the Iranian people to overthrow their Islamo-Fascist Regime.
Israeli President Contradicts Obama’s Message To Iran, Urges Iranians To ‘Topple’ Their Government
Israeli President Shimon Peres also delivered a “special message” to Iran on Nowruz, but “was addressed specifically to Iran’s people and not their government, reprising the tone of [former President] Bush.” And Peres explicitly contradicted Obama and called on the Iranian people to overthrow their government:
“[I suggest] you don’t listen to [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad, it is impossible to preserve a whole nation on incitement and hatred, the people will become tired of it. […] I think that the Iranian people will topple these leaders…these leaders who don’t serve the people, in the end the people will realize that.”
I see nothing wrong with what Peres did. Think Progress does right here:
MJ Rosenberg at the Israel Policy Forum writes that Peres’s goal may have been to “intentially undermine” Obama and that the Iranians might not view the conflicting messages as just a coincidence.
Think Progress is bordering on conspiracy theories. Think progress openly supports the Iranian regime. I guess it is Progressive to Stone Women and Hang Gays. The Leftist-Islamic Alliance is all about hatred of the Judeo-Christian/Greco-Roman Civilization. The Left views Iran as an ally. Therefore they will defend them no matter what. They are the true Fascist, Progressives=Fascists!

Think Progress is one of the most Pro-Jihadi Blogs around. They have openly supported Iran, Hamas, The Mehdi Army, Hizballah and Al Qaeda in the past. Their editor Faiz Shakir is openly supportive of the Islamist agenda. They were saying the Surge in Iraq would fail. As we know it worked and the US has won in Iraq. This upsets them so now they are against a bill by Rep Steve King honoring the effort.
Months After Bush Is Gone, Rep. King To Introduce A ‘Victory In Iraq’ Resolution Honoring His Surge
The Washington Times reports that on Wednesday, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) will be introducing a “Victory in Iraq” resolution, “chronicling the success of the troop surge in Iraq and warning the new Commander-in-Chief that if he changes strategy, he takes ownership of whatever happens on his watch”
I don’t see what is wrong with this? Well it bothers Think Progress as they wish the US lost and their Islamo-Fascist allies had won. Think progress is run by traitors and it is a shame no one ever investigates them.
