Think Progress smears Jonah Goldberg for criticizing Obama’s National service plan

Jonah Goldberg wrote an Op-Ed piece criticizing Obama’s National Service Plan. His premise is the government can’t force people to do service. That such an act might be against the 13th Amendment. Think Progress hates when people disagree so they attack him.

The headline is misleading. His point was that forced servitude might violate the 13th Amendment. His bigger point is that by forcing young people to do National Service, they might grow up thinking they must do what the government tells then to do. He has a valid point. Instead of debating his point, Think Progress smears him. They continue to reveal their Stalinist colors and go after their enemies with lies.
